A PLACE OF SECURITY

The next day, while in prayer, the Lord took me again into the same place of pain and suffering, and this time I understood the reason for the strange, double reactions. Though the storm that shall break over His own ones shall be terrible as He brings them into this new place of beginnings in Him, yet at the same time, he shall bring them into a high and glorious peace and security.

This high state of peace, tranquility and security has not yet been given to His own ones, but will be given when these things which He is about to pour out upon them are fulfilled, and when He brings forth into full manifestation that Holy Thing that He will bring forth into the world through them. At that time they shall know and participate in this sense of security. Now His own ones fear, because as yet it has not been given them to know or understand this high state of security. Later, although great and terrible sufferings come to them, nevertheless, because of this place in God into which they will be enabled to enter, there will be absolutely no fear whatsoever. His own will not fear pain, death nor persecutors, for they will be held in God, and experience this high place in Him in which there is no disturbance of their peace or tranquility of mind or spirit.

REBELLIOUS ONES

Because no enemy force was allowed to oppose my coming in unto Him, I found it quite easy to enter into prayer, and shortly I found myself before Him in His high heavens with His love flooding my whole being.

Then He took me to another place where He showed me a certain group of people who were His but had risen up in rebellion against Him. I wondered greatly why His own ones had become so rebellious against Him until He showed me the cause of this rebellion.

He showed me that He had sent forth a truth to them, but because they were already filled with a truth that they, themselves, had developed and brought forth from their own understandings, they could not receive the truth that He was sending to them. Because they wanted to remain with the truth they already had and did not even desire to receive the truth He was sending them, they had therefore risen up in outright rebellion against Him.

Not only had they risen in rebellion against Him, but they had also risen up in fighting and battle. Then I saw that the Lord sent forth and enclosed them like in a solid fence or wall. (This He did in their minds, enclosing their minds in their own errors.) After this He sent forth against them special forces which began to strike and beat against their enclosed minds. Blow after blow these forces beat against the errors that they had brought forth as truth. This process continued until those errors were destroyed in their minds and they were freed from those inhibiting understandings.

This was His way of rescuing His own ones. When this happened, these turned back to Him and received Him.

Their rebellions were over.

THE UNHEEDED WARNINGS

Although I was given far more opposition than I had anticipated, I was finally able to press through that marvelous doorway ... the cross of celestial light ... unto Him. While He was flooding me with a flow of His divine love, He spoke to me saying that I would find happiness for His love continually covered me and His eyes were ever upon me. I had sought for happiness for myself and had not been able to find it; yet now He had prepared it for me. I would receive it from Him for He had already prepared all things.

Then He showed me upon the earth the souls of a large group of men who were walking along who thought that He was with them. Although He was near to them in His Cloud, yet they were not covered by the Cloud.

He was talking to them, but they were quite indifferent to what He was saying. Then I saw that He sent intermediaries to warn them to change directions and not to proceed any farther in that manner. But all was to no avail. I also saw that they were certain that He was walking with them, but He was not going with them at all. Yet He was near by and was doing all He could to attract their attention to what He was saying to them. Still, they remained fully indifferent to His word. I saw that He was very concerned for them.

Ahead of them there was a great and terrible abyss towards which they were walking. In spite of all the warnings of the messengers He had sent them, nevertheless, they still would not awaken out of their illusions. They simply would not believe that He was not with them, for they were so certain that they belonged to Him and would most surely be spared.

Thus they continued on their own ways and would neither heed nor be converted from their own ways. Continuing right on, they plunged over the face of that great abyss. I saw that He was greatly saddened for He had loved them and had tried to warn them. However, they just would not hear or believe that all was not well with them.

The End Time Call

God has shown me how the Church is asleep while being entertained or caught up with the giftings and blessings at this hour, not because gifts are evil, but simply because she is sidetracked from the essential and deep work of God that truly changes the heart. He revealed to me how the principalities and ruling spirits of this age cunningly exert their influence to minimize any sense of vigilance and alertness on the part of God's people. These demonic forces that specially attack in the moral sphere as well as in the mind motivate powerful ambitions and pride. As they are not counter-attacked, and find little or no resistance in their way, they are able to come in and thwart any real benefit of the work of the Holy Spirit.

The spirit of the age works toward minimizing, denigrating, and attacking everything that exalts Christ. That very spirit is behind the idea that expresses "let's do something more practical," rather than giving priority to prayer, seeking the face of God, and ministering to Him. Consequently, it becomes the ideal environment or breeding ground for the enemy to develop greater resistance, influence and even control. Parallel to this great attack of the enemy, the historic hour in which we live also marks a time of great fulfillment within God's eternal purpose and plan.

The Lord brought to me how the changes in our world, such as the events in relation to Israel, and the world wide involvement in the Middle East crisis, as well as the world trend toward globalization, all point to the need to prepare for His corrective judgment on the church, as well as His punitive judgment on the world. We need to awake from our spiritual slumber to a greater intensity than ever, because the time is short. A complete change will take place soon in the world order as it is known today and the control of the evil one will become more and more apparent. For this reason the Lord has prompted a deep urgency and a burden in me, that we not despise nor neglect the grace God has extended for our preparation.

Unclean Lips

As he caught me away into the world of light, my spirit was filled with the sheer penetration of the celestial light that fills all His world. Every heavenly creature and every heavenly substance is filled with that pure light which emanates from them in wondrous glory. Yet all pales in comparison to the beauty and shining effulgence that streams forth from Him in celestial radiation's ineffable glory. Because everything is filled with light and is so transparent, nothing in all of heaven could ever hide.

Outside of Christ, Himself, there is no hiding place at all. And this tremendous, penetrating light ever fills my being with wonder and delight as it floods in upon me. Great security fills me and peace floods my whole being as His love flowing over me in ever increasing billows cover me in the warmth of His embrace. He showed me some people upon the earth whom I did not see as flesh and blood; rather, in the spirit there was a revealing of their souls to my view. These were those unto whom He had sent forth a certain something from Himself- a substance that I could not ascertain precisely nor did He tell me what it was. But I could see that it was good in essence and pure and holy in substance and was neither negative nor destructive in its import or purpose. Sent forth to prove them and to provoke them unto the truth, it brought forth an evil reaction.

Even though He knew that people would react in this manner, He did not desire them to do so. Their evil reaction caused Him great sadness for he had sent forth to them that which should have been a blessing rather than a thing of condemnation. Inherent in that which He sent forth to them was the power to force them to bring forth truth out of themselves by their reaction. Yet it was the choice of their own wills for they did not need to react in that manner. They were in the place of opportunity of coming forth as His own ones. In fact, they even desired to be His own ones and even thought that they were (or so it seemed to me when He first showed them to me).

The reaction came forth out of their own mouths and took the form of something ugly, filthy and unclean with the power to sully and make unclean. Thus out of their own lips they were vilifying and sullying that which He had sent forth to them. Pouring forth from this lips it made dirty with it's own uncleanness that beautiful, radiant, white blessing that He had sent forth to them. They would not refrain their lips from speaking and therefore that unclean flood poured forth upon that which He sent forth to them. This was manner in which they brought to themselves condemnation and thereby lost the opportunity they had been given. Even more, more they were in a place and state of having had the opportunity of receiving light and life from Him. Yet as this uncleanness streamed forth from the mouths I saw that they lost forever their place of hope of ever becoming His own ones. Excerpts taken from "Visions of the eternal."

Preparation for the Great Attack

The Lord showed me how the imminent world upheaval will affect liberties and will bring about very evil alliances at government level. There will be a coming together with a unified intention to fulfill malicious purposes. As if it were a parody of the oneness expressed in the first church during Pentecost, authorities and people in high places will form sinister liaisons.

Exteriorly these figures will be bland and inoffensive, but their covert schemes will be very malignant. United in the common purpose of worldwide evil, they will precipitate changes that will totally alter the course of mankind as known up to the time. Even though the Lord was preparing His own for that hour, many were totally distracted, as if so engrossed in the naturals that they were rendered oblivious to spiritual realities. Although these deceived ones had a robust appearance, it was only a facade hiding the acute lack of the knowledge of God and of really being rooted in Him. This was the reason for their being so weak and vulnerable. The onslaught of the enemy would serve to bring a defining and separating of these people.

I saw how this vast host of evil forces invaded the earth with a great ability to attack, penetrate, and weaken any opposition. Nonetheless, the Lord showed how this time would of great strengthening for His Chosen, as they had never before experienced. God showed me the place of security, as if it were a great control room, where all things were directed by Him. I saw that though the Lord allowed these forces of darkness to come against and assault, nevertheless in parallel form He gave greater measures of grace and Light to His Own, enabling them to take authority and exert dominion over individuals, churches, cities, and countries.

I saw that this enablement from the Holy Spirit came as a great avalanche or flood of Life and Fire in its manifestation to His people. The Lord then went on to show me how it would move in His Church and His own. This special operation would result in the Church being no longer identified as a mere conglomeration of people, but now there would be a most apparent identity of Christ in her. Although these formidable powers were loosed, God's power clearly and unmistakably was over all. As these powers were released in the spirit realm, there was a reflection in the naturals of a power bringing much confusion as well as sinfulness.

Already at this hour this is being precipitated upon the earth and mankind. Nonetheless, it was wonderful to see how God had everything under perfect control and how the time for the fulfillment of these things was now. I was also given to see those whom the Lord is specially drawing to Himself in a way hitherto not known. But on the other hand it was also obvious how upon the Chosen great attacks of the evil were being unleashed, as if were in waves, comparable to the "blitz" used by the Germans in the 2nd. World War.

As the Lord carefully covered me with His Grace and the cloud of His presence, He allowed me a close up view of the fury that operated en those forces of darkness. With unleashed hatred and rage, these creatures became increasingly grotesque and horrendous in their ferocity against the chosen of the Lord. It was marvelous indeed to see that despite the great disproportion of evil forces and the intense manifestation of violence on the part of these demonic hosts, His Own suffered absolutely no harm. I was amazed, for from my vantage point it looked like a lost cause, as the Lord's Own appeared to be totally vulnerable and weak before such a vehement and vicious attack of the enemy.

Nonetheless as I was given to look closer, I saw how the Lord took something from His own being and infused it into them. His Spirit filled them more and more, strengthening and greatly enriching them. Then His own arose in power and counter attacked, causing the forces of evil to retreat in disarray. Thus it was God causing His own strength in His own to overcome and defeat the enemy.

Note: For a historical precedent see Acts 4:24-30 This second outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the early church marked the onset of one of the greatest periods of opposition and persecution, but also of great power and authority for the Body of Christ.

The Place of Restored Life

The Holy Spirit took me to a new place which seemed to be connected to Place of Beginnings that I had seen before, where God was replacing life, as it were, as if the first life had not been healthy and whole and had somehow lacked something. Now, in another manner, He was changing things completely, replacing that unhealthy life by a new life that was fragile, delicate and tender, yet at the same time powerful, unbreakable and strong.

In this new place there was a bringing forth a change of the forms of life. When He said: "In this place I shall totally restore life." He spoke as though the life had not yet been fully restored before these workings which I now was witnessing. The former life had been sick and unhealthy. As an illustration, it seemed like a baker who had given form to a loaf of bread, yet within the loaf was another substance not even related to the form and substance of the crust of the loaf on the outside. In the same way, the former life had a certain form and substance; but the life in this place of beginnings that He was about to give would be greatly superior in the inherent quality to that of the former.

THE DESTROYED TREE

The Lord reminded me of a vision He showed me many months ago, concerning a tree that was all destroyed save a living branch that remained after the destroying work had been completed. I had seen this living branch break forth with great life and develop in great beauty.

Today He showed me that this living branch is the same as the wave of light during the storm that I have been seeing of late. The negative part of the storm pertains to the part of the tree that was destroyed. I saw the forces of evil as military camps of the enemy located in high spiritual spheres.

From these high places came fourth the organization, orders, powers and beings of darkness that worked below in the out workings of the storm.

THE NEW LIFE AND THE ANGRY STORM

Of late, every time He takes me unto Himself, I am made exceedingly conscious of the coming storm of persecution that is drawing ever nearer. It is already forming and developing (received circa 1972), gathering its forces and heaping together its strength, preparing to break forth in hellish fury at a predetermined time.

This great storm of hate and fury, with its pain and bloodshed, is timed to break forth at the very same time as this high and Holy Thing that He is bringing forth out of Himself shall be manifested upon the earth. The two things are forming in the invisible world at the same time and at the same place. The storm of persecution and hatred shall break forth simultaneously with the coming light of this Holy Thing that he is bringing forth; which shall be manifested upon the earth in those whom He has chosen exclusively for Himself, and in whom He shall come forth in this new beginning.

THE LIVING FIRES

After battling with much sleepiness I finally was enabled to overcome and was taken into the Spirit. He was there in His manifestation of the great Cloud. The Cloud was in relative calm but still was fully aglow with tremendous inner fires, great burnings, and constant movement as if He were given over into great emotions.

Below the Cloud there was something all covered over with a veil that was like a cloud of light made into some gossamer material of celestial living things. This cloudy veil shone forth with much light and as are all things there was filled with life. There came a band of great angels who belong to this sphere and they prepared to take hold of this cloudy veil to uncover that which was hidden below. At this instant He spoke from out of the Cloud and in a great voice that reverberated throughout all heaven said, "THE TIME HAS COME IN WHICH THESE MUST BEGIN TO REIGN." It was a moment of extreme importance and all was great joy and great love. As they began to uncover and draw back the veil all heaven seemed to break forth in a song whose words I could not understand with a noise and force that penetrated and reverberated throughout all the heavens. It was a sound of great glory and triumph. Again a voice sounded and said, "Now is come the day of great glory."

The angels proceeded to take aside the cloudy veil. There before me I saw a relatively limited number of flaming fires of gold which were like giant torches that were not only in full flame but also were most brilliant in celestial glory light. The fire was a good fire, not evil, in the attitude of reigning and I knew that they were reigning with Him.

These fiery torches that reigned were fully united and identified with the One who was the Cloud of Glory as if they were part of Himself, or as if they were He many times over on a tiny scale. He spoke again saying that this would now be taking place. I knew that this was of greatest import and was a glorious hour in the heavenlies.

THE GOLDEN TORCHES

The next night He took me again into the Spirit showing me the same place with these same fiery torches of gold all aflame as before under the Cloud. The scene was the same as the night before and at first there was no difference. Then He spoke with a thunderous voice from out of the Cloud. At His voice all things trembled and I was greatly astonished. He said, "NOW EACH ONE OF THESE SHALL BE PLACED AND LOCATED IN HIS OWN PLACE OF REIGNING!" At the same time I saw another thing.

These same great flames of fiery gold were dispersed over a great expanse each in his own place but at the same time they did not leave their places under the Cloud. These torches were one and the same but they were in two distinct places at the same time. Each was in his own place and there He reigned. At the same time the torches were so dispersed that they formed into some sort of pattern but I could not tell what it meant.

Lifted up over these reigning flames of fiery golden torches I saw a great host of mighty angels, a great number impossible for man to number. They all had their wings extended as they were suspended over these reigning ones. All of the angels sang with terrible and mighty voices so that the whole universe seemed to tremble. It was a voice of some mighty, stormy wind with a sound so penetrating and so overpowering yet so impossible for me to understand the words.

I saw also that there was a total vigilance, identification and unity between the One in the Cloud of glory and those who were under the Cloud and those same ones who were each in his own place. There was no separation because of distance. He was with them in unique love and unity.

I saw also that where each one was reigning in his own place the fire consumed all around itself until all around was burned. Yet this same fire under the Cloud, burning in all the same vehemence, consumed nothing at all.

THE CLOUD DESCENDS

Again I was taken into the realms of the Spirit and lovingly welcomed by the Lord. After covering me with His love He especially told me that I need not have any fear because He would not abandon me. Then He showed me Himself as the Glorious Cloud of Fire and Light. The Cloud was the most excited and exceedingly exalted that I have ever seen it save in anger and wrath, but this time He was not in His wrath. Mighty power and all kinds of rays and emanations were upon all sides. In a most marvelous and tremendous manner He was filled with violence and activity yet it was not in wrath. I cannot describe at all what He was like in the Cloud.

Then there came out from Him in a huge wave something that appeared to be His very own self in mighty power and glory and in the Cloud yet He did not leave His high place in the heavens either, yet He did. He was in so much activity and moved about over the heavens that opened below Him. This great wave of Himself in the Cloud also descended with tens of thousands of mighty angels down towards the earth. It did not descend slowly nor softly but in great haste and speedy activity. When it was as yet some distance from the earth it hovered there for a while suspended over the heads of the people but they did not see it nor did they know it was there. And there it rested.

After a while this other Cloud that was Himself ... so much so that it seemed that He had partly left the heavens ... became again very active and then with another speedy movement it descended again. This time it went clear on down to the earth and covered it from my view.

Then He spoke saying, "This which you see will not take my loving sons by surprise because they are waiting for it to take place. They are already knowing and have been advised and are waiting for me to come to them in love, for they will love my appearing." He also said that His hour had been fulfilled and that it was now the time that these things must shortly take place.

Possession Now or Later

While I was with Him in the wonder and glory of His invisible world, He showed me His own entering into the possession which He gives them. He explained that there were two distinct times of tremendous importance in which there could be an entering into one's possession. Now, before the storm or later, after the storm. Those who entered before the storm became His elect ones, with a far superior place and development. In them the perfect will of God brought forth?occupying a place very near Him, they became the instruments of God in His workings. Those who entered their possession after the storm were perfected upon a definitely inferior plane. The timing of their coming into their possession made the difference between whether they became His elect ones, who lived in great intimacy with Him, or His own ones, who lived on a much inferior plane.

Watch Care

Caught away into the Spirit, I was shown the wonderful watch-care of God over His own elect ones which, though constant and glorious, was not a total thing; there was a self-watch-care that He desired of them. God had liberated them from chains and bondage's and He kept them constantly. Yet He warned them not to put these same chains and bondages upon themselves again, by trifling acts and petty carelessnesses. It was possible for them to enter those same things again by such carelessness. Thus, together with Him in His great and glorious watch-care over them, He also required them to keep constant watch over their own lives.

Channels of Light

Today He showed me how he sent His glorious life-light into the inner beings of His chosen ones who were close to Him. After being received, this living light then passed from the interior to the exterior. The only way that His living light could pass through to the exterior world and thereby to others was by passing from the interior to the exterior of these chosen channels of light. It would not, and could not come forth to others in the world below in any other way. In no other manner could this light shine forth into the dark, exterior world, except by God sending it forth into the inner beings of His elect ones, and they in turn, bringing it forth into the darkness that surrounded them.

The Place of Liberty

In today's vision I saw God accompanied by a great number of His own ones. In His hand were a large number of actions and operations which were delicate, complex, and not at all attractive to man. When He began to work He did not bring forth all His operations, nor did He bring them forth in all of His own ones. These operations caused a separation and definition in certain of His own. Some received them to full advantage; others, who did not receive them in such a manner, were not benefited by them. The manner of receiving caused a separation and those who did not benefit were excluded and separated. Those who took full advantage of God's operations were taken into a larger place of advancement; the others, who had not benefited by these same operations, were unable to enter. This new and different place of advancement was a place of liberty, not liberty for those who entered, but liberty for God Himself in them. In those of His own ones who had been taken into that new place God had freedom to do as He wished, working in and through them in full liberty of action; but when He came to the others who had not benefited by His operations He was not free to do in them as He wished.

His Presence Develops

God placed within His own ones something that did not fully develop in all of them. The development of this living thing only came forth in those who came into a state of His continual Presence, and who were continually dwelling with Him. This development came not by works, nor by strengths, nor by the striving of man, but only by the continual Presence of Christ in their lives.

The Covering of God

In today's vision I saw His own ones in several given states. Regardless of the state in which he found himself, God's child was supposed to have a covering. However this covering from God depended upon the reaction of the person to and within his state. That is to say, if the reaction to this state was negative, then he lost his covering; but if his reaction was positive, his covering remained and increased. In whatever state God's child found himself, this principle applied.

Hidden Workings

The Lord showed me that when He desires to do a greater work in some of His chosen ones and still further perfect His doings, He encloses hem in His own enclosures. Hidden from view, His workings are neither visible nor known to others. These upon whom He is working cannot go out from His enclosures, but are kept within so that His hand can do its greater work. Hiding them and enclosing them, He brings them in hidden ways unto Himself. God does not wish to manifest openly the secrets of His dealings with His own ones; nor are these perfections manifested before their time. Those who are not so enclosed have a lesser work done in them, and His perfections of higher order are not revealed in them for they have not received the hidden workings.

Human Force

God showed me the ministry of a certain pastor, who was utilizing human strength and force to operate the things of God. Instead of utilizing the forces and powers of God during the services, he was using his own strengths. These human forces provoked certain reactions from the people, causing them to move out and do more than God was doing. This manner of ministry was displeasing to God; for it was not His way of building nor were His strengths operating. Concerning this work, God showed me that when they thing that the work is well formed, He shall touch it and cause it to fall in ruins. At that moment God shall pick up those same ruins and build His work His own way. This will happen because, as yet, they have not entered into the true construction and manner of the building of God.

The Essential Condition

He showed me His elect ones whom He was preparing, and the endless variety of ways, preparations and treatments that He was giving to each one. No two received the same dealings from God. Each person experienced his own type of persecutions, oppressions, attacks from the evil one, and their accompanying dealings of God. No one was passed over; no one escaped these dealings. Some processes were pleasing, some were painful; yet all were of God. These continued until all of His own were brought forth to one and the same condition. This condition was a mark of distinction, was visible, obvious, tangible and evident, even in the world of the invisibles. This one great condition into which they would be brought by these multitudinous processes was something inworked within them. There had been, as it were, a cutting out and a doing away with something in order that this new thing might be implanted and ingrafted in fullness. I realized that this essential condition which made them all alike (in spite of such varied processes) was that each one had within him the perfect will of God. This outstanding condition made them all alike: through these processes that He had chosen for them, He brought them to possess this high and holy position; they became as it were, His perfect will.

God's Perfect Memory

In prayer, I saw another place within the Cloud where His thoughts are operating ... a place vastly different from the Place of His Thoughts of a revolutionary nature. It appeared like the very heart of the memory of God, where His thoughts already thought, His words already spoken, and His purposes already purposed, are all held. It was similar to a great archive or memory bank; but not an inactive file of stored and quiescent memories, such as we would envision. To the contrary, it seemed as though each thought of God, once brought forth, could never cease nor be laid aside. Each one of these multitudinous thoughts was maintained in constant activity, ever scrutinized and always active. None was ever forgotten or ceased to be, nor were they laid aside, covered or hidden away. They never had to be called forth as from a memory bank, for they were always in an active state of being called forth continually. In this place of His myriads of thoughts, although there was ceaseless activity, yet everything moved in such harmony and complete order, that it's incomparable perfection amazed and frightened me. As I watched, I realized that God could never forget even the smallest detail, the briefest thought or the simplest word. In this place so filled with light and knowledge, not even an insignificant detail could ever be lost or go astray in the complicated maze of His thoughts concerning His people. Not one word, or inflection of a word concerning His own ones could ever fade, be forgotten or fail to remain ever before Him.

The Place of Piercing

The Lord took some of His own and wounded them, opening a hole in them and as it were, piercing their spiritual bodies so that all the putrification and poison within could be released; and because the whole being was filled with this noxious, poisonous and toxic substance, a great quantity gushed forth from the place that He pierced. After he had taken out the poisons, He also drew out a certain life that was death in the form of life, and replaced it by another life; so that at no time was there any part left empty. In reality, when He had finished the process, He had taken nothing out and there was no loss whatsoever. The life that took the place of the death-life was distinct and completely different; it was life in perfection which was a reflection of Himself. This new life came in through the wound that He had opened to allow the poisons and the death-life to be withdrawn. He told me that only by this wounding or piercing could those who were coming into Him in this present hour be freed and released from this poison. Of late, He has insisted repeatedly that this purifying process which would bring forth this cleansing wound is neither pleasant nor attractive, but painful to His own. Then He showed me a wave of gigantic proportions that would sweep over all the earth, and would reach every one that would be coming into what God is now doing, and would push and carry forth this purifying process into fulfillment. Those who entered into Him would be picked up and struck by this wave, and would be wounded and thus purified; the others, who rejected this wave and special wounding, would go off into a side-track. Sadly enough, I found that they obtained what they desired from God, but they did not find God in it. These would be greatly disappointed at having been left out of what God is now doing for those of His own ones who will listen to Him, and following Him in love, permit this special wounding.

The Voice of Thunder

Of late He has been telling me that the coming storm will be the cause, not only of great development in His own ones, but also of the manifestation of this development. During this time a voice like the voice of thunder shall come forth out of His own ones and defy the enemy mightily. Before His own, God shall place things that will call forth this thundering voice, and by it they shall destroy their enemies as if they were houses but made of paper. (I saw this operating not only in the natural world but also in the spiritual). God had already provided one refuge for them in an intimate relationship with Him, but there was still another refuge ... the manifestation of the Lord to His own ones as He fought with them against their enemies. He was organizing all the operations of these coming works, but was sharing His secrets only with His chosen few. I saw Him walking with certain captains in a most tangible and visible manner. Others of God's soldiers were following them, but they were not in the same intimate relationship with Him as the captains. Although He was not visible to these other soldiers, nevertheless in being directed by the captains, they were also being guided by God.

The Light Wave

This new and mighty wave of purest light and power began as a work underneath the operation of the black and terrible storm of evil and persecution. Even while the storm pursued its course, this new wave of purest light-force was being prepared and exploded, as it were, in the greatness and suddenness of its force and extension. He showed me how this new wave operated; there were what looked like raking arms, which gathered together in ever-increasing scale a countless multitude of souls for Him. In amazing operations of God, and great power and force, thousands were gathered in to Him. However, there was a difference in the levels and states of these souls that the light-wave gathered in: they were obviously inferior to those elect ones who were walking above the storm. Although inferior in state, they were still far superior in numbers. In spite of this inferior state, they were still very beautiful and exceedingly precious to Him, and He was tremendously interested in the coming forth of these multitudes. With great joy and power He was working intensely to bring this to pass.

Then He showed me more concerning these two groups: Those far superior ones who were walking above the storm as it worked its fury underneath their feet, and the newer ones brought in underneath the storms covering. Although the latter were inferior in their beings, they were tremendously important, both to Him and to those elect ones who were walking above the storm. The Lord gave the greatest importance to these new ones. Their inferior state was not in appearance but in their relationship to God. Those who were walking above the storm had a very intimate relationship to God. Those who were walking above the storm had a very intimate relationship with Him, with great flowings of love ... as mighty fires and strong currents ... binding them and relating them to Him. As these new ones took great blessings from God, this blessing rebounded to His elect ones, thus blessing them as the others were blessed. There were different times for their preparation, for although the very elect were already far advanced in their preparations even before this new wave was brought forth, nevertheless, there was a further advancement and fulfilling of their perfections in and by the development and perfecting of those who were on that inferior plane of relationship to God. For even on that inferior plane, a perfecting and fulfilling of their development was necessary.

This wave of purest light was working in the midst of great darkness underneath the storm. He showed me a terribly dark and forbidding section which showed no promise whatsoever, where that wave of light had not yet reached. Then He told me that this light would be spread abroad in places where it had never been before, and where darkness reigned until this wave of light arrived. These places were many, and they were waiting for the coming forth of this light. He said that He would carry forth this wave of marvelous life-light to a certain state of development ... to the border of its exploding forth. Although He desired that this wave spring forth into this explosive force of pure life-light, one thing was yet lacking to bring it forth. This explosion would be brought forth by His elect ones who were walking above the storm. Each one of them individually had to open, as it were, a door within himself and come into a still higher place of communication with Jesus, which could open their inner doors to the bringing forth of this light-force in great power. As they open these doors, that great wave of light would pas through them and begin to fulfill its purposes and works upon the earth. Even though this wave, filled with great power and force of harvest, would gather in multitudes, yet it would advance slowly, step by step, taking its territory only as the elect ones took steps forward and opened their doors to it.

He told me that these sons who are to bring in this new wave must be very purified. This purification is of great importance, not only for themselves, but also for those new ones who are to be brought in. The high, full purification of these elect ones is the opening of the doors within them which shall rebound in the great light-force unto those thousands who are still in darkness. In the beginning of this new wave and in the first steps of its development, things will appear to have certain deformations. Many factors will cause these deformations, which will result in this wave taking two directions. (However, these factors will influence only in one direction that the wave will take). From God Himself will flow various things which will permit these deforming forces to enter with definite purposes and operations.

These very factors and deformations will further purify the elect sons of light who are in the other part of the now divided wave. There are special places prepared for those brought in during this new wave under the storm, dark places directly connected with the storm of evil, fury and destructive force in persecution, which have already been taken and annulled, but must be claimed by them. The new wave reactivates these places where in the new ones are to be formed and molded. Certain things will produce great 'wearings out' in those new ones, for there are certain things that must be worn down. Only when they are word down will they be advantageous to them: the very battle of this wearing down process, which is of God, is the reforming and transforming of their beings. He told me that I must not attribute anything to the power of evil in these things, for all things proceed forth from God ... not from some diabolical force, but from Him. In all things pertaining to His elect, nothing proceeds from the devil; all things proceed forth from God Himself and are for the good and the development of His loved ones.

Uniting

The shining forth of the divine light revealed a working of God among His own ones upon the earth. Because some of them were walking loose and unconnected and alone, there could be no operation of the power of God with them. In order for this divine power to work for them, they had to be united. Then I saw the power of God come forth and begin to operate upon them and bring them together into one body, so that He could come forth upon them in a greater way.

Challenges

In the realms of light the Lord showed me the entrances into progressive levels of light. Before each level, a divine challenge faced His own ones which was not defined to me but was, nevertheless, very real and obvious. These challenges had the appearance of negative values, as if they would be harmful to one if accepted; nevertheless, the truth was that each challenge of the Lord ... if accepted ... would lead His own ones on into a higher level of light. To reject a challenge from the Lord caused one to lose the light which it was meant to bring. These challenges, which were many, were progressive. Later He told me that the stream of ministry would increase each time it flowed forth, and in this way would become progressively more useful.

The Fullness of Time

God showed me that the time for this wave to appear and operate has not yet arrived, nor shall it appear before its own time. To the contrary, the coming of this new wave of light-life force shall seem impossible, for it will appear that these multitudes are all closed against His light completely. Because God has not as yet given them the capacity to receive light, they shall remain in that state until their time comes. Yet, when His time comes and the wave begins to flow forward, God shall give them understanding so that they shall be able to receive and understand the light which shall then flood upon them.

The Only Covering: Possessing Him

As I entered the presence of God, I saw the storm approaching - that great, angry, black cloud of evil that covers all - the time of great suffering and persecution that is already gathering its powers and forces together. I realized that before this storm breaks, His people must possess Him in a very intimate and personal way, a possession which can only be attained through a love relationship with Jesus. However, this love is far, far deeper than the glorious and beautiful love which flows freely in a fleeting moment of blessing; this is the state of love abiding within the heart as the one strong, constant and unfluctuating foundation of the inner being. I saw that such a relationship or possession formed a mighty covering power of God over His own ones, which was filled with grace and light and mighty strength, like a great, invisible mass which cannot be divided or separated in any way.

I was shown the enemy rushing against that covering in great fury and with much blustering; but they collided against that mighty covering of grace and light and were thrown back. They could do nothing against it. This covering was effective as long as the love relationship with Jesus was constantly nurtured and maintained; it cold never be retained apart from that feeding and nurturing, but was at the disposal of His own ones as long as the connection with Him was maintained. Some, even of His own ones, who had not entered this place of possessing Him in intimacy, saw only the storm, and could not see any higher than that cloud of evil and darkness, for the storm had the power to cut off their vision of Him. There were others, however, who learned to come into Him and possess Him, to the extent that they knew they were His and He was theirs. This intimate communion with Jesus, this state of constantly loving Him, this life lived with Him and in Him, was such a covering and protection that they had no fears. They were filled with security and peace. God opened their eyes to see Him high and triumphant, ruling above the storm, and they were not afraid. Because of this, the storm could not enter into them to possess them at all.

Those Who Hide Their Glory

Caught away into the Spirit, I saw still more clearly than ever before a class of spirits I have frequently seen, yet not too closely or distinctly. These spirits, of which there are a great number, are not as angels and powers who always appear in the same spiritual forms, shapes and spiritual bodies. They are like a race of beings apart, who are always different, yet ever the same; it is their appearance that varies and changes. These spirit beings are so far superior to angels I have seen thus far, that I hardly know how to describe them or explain the difference between them and angels. Perhaps one could say that the angels, in spite of their tremendous power, beauty, glory and size, seem to be more like the servants in the employ of the Great King who dearly loves them. Because they are also filled with love, their service for their King is likewise filled with love. These other superior beings are still more greatly loved and they hold a more intimate place in Him. They seem to be a race that is completely set apart, and dwell on a plane far superior to the highest angels. It seems as though they were always desiring to hide their appearance, as it were, to hide or cover their glory. It must be because of this very hiding that, though they are at times very near, still I am not able to apprehend them clearly. Not only are these high spirit beings of great importance and intimate relationship with God, they are directly working in the development of His elect ones. These high spirit beings seem to be sent forth to sustain and support what God is building in His elect ones. As His elect are working together with God in the Spiritual building which He is building above, at the same time, they are sustaining and supporting that which God is building in His elect ones here below.
