The Lion; The Cloth Remnants & the Coat of Many Colors

July 2,2003

It all started with me walking in the most beautiful forest looking at the trees and plants and the most beautiful waterfall I have ever seen...for it looked like a liquid rainbow. I have never seen a waterfall like that for it looked alive. I was standing there looking at it when all of a sudden I heard this enormous crash... Like the crashing of thunder and it startled me. I then looked in the direction it was coming from and I saw a dove appearing. It was descending with a rolled up piece of parchment in its mouth...and it was tied with a purple ribbon that seemed to form a crown from the shape of its ribbon.

The dove flew down towards me and dropped the rolled up parchment into my hands. Then I went to release the crowned ribbon to open up the parchment...and when it came undone I heard all kinds of birds burst forth into singing. Their singing was so very beautiful. When I got the parchment opened looked at the words...I saw it was written in Hebrew. As I began to look at it, a voice spoke aloud and said: "Behold! A mystery! I will show you your birthright in the days to come. Behold!" And then I was no longer in the forest but instead in some huge desert...from far away I could see a walled city with some sort of black mist all around the walls...it swirled up and down the walls of the city. It never went completely to the top of the wall, just about two-thirds up and then it would come back down again. The way it swirled up and down reminded you of the movements of a snake...swirling up and down the whole wall of the city.

Then the same voice that spoke to me in the forest spoke again and said, "Come...behold your birthright." As the voice finished speaking, I began to be gently pushed forward like I was on some type of rolling ground. My feet weren't moving, but I was moving forward. The closer I got, the thicker and more dense that swirling black mist became, until I couldn't see the walls of the city anymore...just a thick dark mist swirling all around.

The next thing I knew, I was up on top of the wall of the city and I was looking around...then I looked down into the city...but what I thought was a city was in fact no city. Instead, I was looking at the biggest lion I have ever seen. It was enormous! It was the size of a huge house...and it was pacing around and around inside that wall. Around and around the perimeters of the wall the lion kept walking...pacing back and forth he was never still.

Then all of a sudden, I felt a shift in the wall...for the wall felt like it was moving...and I looked down at the wall upon which I was standing to see why it seemed to move and what I thought was a wall when seen from far away...was in fact no wall at all...but people! It was people who made up the wall. They were stacked upon one another in such a way that they formed stairs. I never saw anything like this...for they looked like living stairs of some sort...and then my attention was brought to a very large man in the sky up above me. He was shouting: "Remnants! Give me your remnants!" I didn't know what he was talking about...then suddenly he was standing in front of me with his hand held out, asking for my remnant. I held out my hand...and when I looked down at it there was a torn piece of white muslin. It looked like a piece of a jig-saw puzzle the way it was all cut...then he moved on and kept asking for remnants. That is when I saw all the other people. For on top of that whole wall...it was lined with people..and every one of them had a piece of a remnant. Some had pieces of white muslin like mine, while others had colored pieces...the most beautiful shimmering colors I have ever seen. Well, I couldn't help but notice the girl standing to the left of me with her remnant. She had the most beautiful purple satin remnant. I thought, 'O my gosh, the color of royalty!!' And at that moment I really coveted that girls purple piece. I thought 'O how lucky she is to have the color of royalty...for mine was just a little plain, white piece.' O, how I was wishing her purple remnant would have been mine instead. My little white muslin piece was so plain...it didn't shine like hers...nor like any of the other colored pieces.

Now this is very odd...what happened next...for after he was done collecting all our remnants, then they appeared above all our heads. They appeared and they were spinning around and around. At the same time they collected up in the air...color with color...for each piece was being fit together like some giant jig-saw puzzle...and forming the coat of many colors. All of the plain white muslin pieces were not included in that robe...for they were coming together in their own place up there along side of the coat of many colors. For all the little white pieces were being fit together with each other like some puzzle piece...each finding their place in what was being formed of them...and when all the white pieces were being fit together....it wasn't a robe like the coat of many colors was, but in fact the white pieces formed into a giant long white sheet. When it was all done, the voice shouted out: "Behold! The burial cloth." I got so excited I started shouting, "Yes!! Yes!! Alright!!" For I knew what this was. The next thing I knew, I felt a pulling king of tug behind my belly button...and I was jerked up and put into the air along with thousands of others who also had the white remnant...and we all had on purple robes and encrusted crowns that were Gold. At the same time, an iridescent purple look to that beautiful crown that was upon all our heads. Our attention was drawn back to the Lion beneath us, for the walls shifted again after we were given our robes, and a breach appeared in the wall, as the wall opened and that huge Lion that was pacing within the walls leaped out from within the wall and did the strangest thing. For it opened it's mouth wide...and began to inhale all that black mist like some giant vacuum... It inhaled it all till there was no more...and there my dream ended.
