The dictionary definition for body states: The whole physical substance of a man, animal or plant. The main or central part of anything. To give shape or form to. To symbolize or represent.

My husband woke one morning with the word antibody running through him. We wondered what the LORD wanted us to see in this so we went to the Word. Most Christians are familiar with the term antichrist. Depending upon one's religious training antichrist may mean a variety of things. Yet all concepts should consist of being against or contrary to the person and gospel of Christ We see in 1 John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come, and even now already is in the world. And again in 1 John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

Make no mistake believer; the spirit of anti-christ is flourishing in the world today. This is not an issue where one can be undecided. Either you believe that Jesus is the Christ, or you deny and reject him. . First, let us consider what the Word says concerning Christ's body. Because of the hour in which we live, those opposing the person and message of Christ are working overtime to infiltrate the church (Christ's body) with all manner of deceptions. The church is not a man-made structure with a membership roster. The church is made up of every born-again believer worldwide. We are Christ's body in the world. Look at how Paul described the body of Christ in 1Cor.12: 12-27 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ. For by one spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one spirit. For the body is not one member, but many. If the foot shall say, because I am not the hand, I am not of the body: is it therefore not of the body? And if the ear shall say, because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; is it therefore not of the body? If the whole body were the eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling? But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased him. And if they were all one member, where were the body? But now are they many members, yet one body. Nay, much more those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble are necessary: and those members of the body, which we think to be less honorable, upon these we bestow more abundant honor; and our uncomely parts have more abundant comeliness. For our comely parts have no need: but God hath tempered the body together, having given more abundant honor to that part which lacked: That there should be no schism in the body; but that the members should have the same care one for another. Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.

We have no choice as to our placement within the body of Christ. God does the choosing. Yet wherever he places us, whatever our position, it will be a perfect fit, one that was designed especially for us. God does not view the body of Christ from our carnal, limited level, seeing only the here and now. God sees the whole picture. He is the beginning and the end of all things. Only God knows what tomorrow will bring. He knows everything that there is to know about each and every one of us, the very thoughts and intents of our hearts. He knows our strengths and weaknesses. He knows the obstacles and challenges that will be placed in our path for us to overcome. And all the while he is our endless source of help. It is important that we grasp the full implications of what it means to be a member of the body of Christ. Eph 5:30 For we are member of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. We are literally Christ's representatives in this physical world. Men cannot see God, but they can see us. Col. 1:18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. It is an extraordinary privilege to be a member of God's household. Yet how seriously do we take this gift of new life? Col. 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory. Christ is the head of the body. We must submit our will, our wants, and our desires. We will never properly function within the body of Christ until Christ is Lord and Master within us individually. This is a great mystery, which man has stumbled over throughout the ages. Christ in you, the hope of glory. That is exactly how the body of Christ will operate. He will manifest himself from within the individual believer outwardly to the world. Christ will have the preeminence in all things. This is not what we are seeing in the world at this time.

I believe one of the greatest challenges facing Christians today is overcoming the divisions in the body of Christ. We are splintered and fragmented into thousands of denominations doctrines, sects and groups. Yet all claiming the promises of salvation; and all convinced that what we believe is true, and everyone else is in error. What I fear, is that we are all in error. Satan has had 2000 years to adulterate the gospel of Christ. His goal has been to so divide Christians against one another, that they are weak and ineffectual. And he has succeeded. Anti-body could be the spirit, which is rampant in the world today, in opposition to Christ's body being manifested.

While doing a word search on 'body', Numbers 19:13 stood out to me. Whosoever toucheth the dead body of any man that is dead, and purifieth not himself, defileth the tabernacle of the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from Israel: because the water of separation was not sprinkled upon him, he shall be unclean; his uncleanness is yet upon him.

Reading this verse, I saw it in a spiritual sense, rather than the natural. If we read it as the dead body being any [body, group, denomination, belief system] that we touch; [attach ourselves to, follow after]. And we fail to purify ourselves, [be conformed to the likeness of Christ, learn what Jesus said & did, make Him the most important thing in our lives, submit to the dealings of the Holy Spirit in our lives]. We would be guilty of defiling the tabernacle [temple, body, which thing we are] of the Lord; and be cut off [fail to inherit promises, miss the mark]. Because the water of separation was not sprinkled upon him [the Holy spirit, who will lead us into all truth], he shall be unclean. This is an example of types and shadows, found throughout the scriptures. It is only as the Holy Spirit opens our understanding to see the applications, that we can discern their meanings.

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect will of God.

We are charged not to follow the crowd, but to follow Christ. The message of today is keep your eyes on God, not on any man and what he's built or accomplished. For even now God is preparing a people who will serve Him. HE is going to shake all that can be shaken, till not one stone remains upon another, and only what is of Him and cannot be shaken will remain standing. All of our works shall be tried by fire, and everything that we have built that God did not author [wood, hay & stubble] shall be burned up. There is only One Way, One Truth, and One Savior. We must seek the Holy Spirit, for he alone can lead us into the truth. We must be willing to accept all that the LORD sends our way, as of him and needful in our preparation for what is coming. Though in the natural it looks impossible, we can rest assured that God knows just how to accomplish the impossible.

In the midst of the spiritual darkness of today, God is preparing His Body. The whole world is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God. There is a strong move of the enemy to block this manifestation. Indeed, the enemy probably are congratulating themselves on how well they have succeeded in watering down the gospel, distracting and disillusioning the believers, and making things abominable to God all quite socially acceptable. Yet God will not be mocked. In the midst of this perverse generation, the LORD has separated unto himself those chosen to make up his body. They are scattered over the face of the earth, hidden away, seeming nobody's. They are being tested and tried, and suffering the pain of dying to self and all that the world has to offer. They are all individually and collectively being prepared, with much love and watch care, for they have a monumental job ahead of them. We can rest assured that all the efforts of the enemy are for nothing. God has everything under control. Judgment begins at the house of God. All who call themselves by the name of Jesus shall be visited, and all that they believe shall be tried, and all that they have built shall be shaken. Resistance shall be futile.

Let us all examine our own hearts now while there is still time. Even though today to the natural eye, everything around us appears to be anti-body, believe that we shall see the fullness of Christ manifest in the world in this generation through His Body, the Church. We shall witness the establishment of His Kingdom in the earth, and the removal of all the systems of man. Do not let yourself be discouraged by all the divisions you see in the body of Christ at this hour. Instead, allow the Spirit to purge your heart and renew your mind, until you have the mind of Christ. As Jesus told Peter in Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

So let us keep our eye on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. Amen.

P.S. The Lord laid this on my heart in January of 2003. In the interval since then, things have gotten even worse. The pressures to conform are greater than ever. The deceptions are so effective...because they are are mingled with TRUTH. So cleverly disguised, that our intellect cannot discern. We have to be guided...in all things...by the SPIRIT. 99% truth and 1% error is mixture. Such a low percentage of error may be acceptable to fallen man....but is not acceptable to a HOLY GOD. I pray that the Spirit will quicken to our understanding the deadly seriousness of the hour. If the Spirit of God is drawing you, don't turn away. All things written SHALL BE FULFILLED.

Paul said the spirit of anti-christ was already in the world...2000 years ago....how much more prevalent is this spirit today, deceiving multitudes? How will we recognize it? It may use the name of Jesus, it will sound like the real deal, but it is a counterfeit. Any spirit, person, group; that uses the name of Jesus but denies the ANOINTING of the Spirit of God, is anti-christ. I am not advocating the melding of all the denominations. That is the plan of the enemy, to remove the true anointing, to compromise the Gospel of Christ, and replace it with a counterfeit. We are rushing toward One World Government, One World Rulership, the Beast is rising, even now.

As the Body of Christ...we need to wake up NOW! We need to fully come under the LORDSHIP of JESUS CHRIST in our lives. We must be led by the Spirit in all things. Keep our eye focused on our LORD, He is our refuge, He is our shelter, He is our rock of defense, He is the only safe hiding place; there is no other. We are called to OVERCOME the world, not in our strength or understanding, but in HIS. May we all seek HIM as if our very lives depended on it...because they do.
