I pray that this poem will comfort, bring strength, and hope to all my brothers and sisters in Christ that are weary and tired of the fight. We are ONE in HIM, walking together hand in hand and some day, we will stand together, and be with each other FOREVER, In God's PRESENCE

IN GOD'S PRESENCE

PSALM 16 v 11

Lord, I come into Your presence

With my hands humbly raised

Offering You my heart, and to

Give You my words of praise

I stand, then I fall to Your feet

As I WAIT, I feel You breathe

Your strength into me

As I kneel, I am still and quiet

Listening to Your heart, speak to mine

In Your presence, there is fullness of joy

In Your presence, darkness is dispelled

And my sinful nature is destroyed

In the LIGHT of Your glory,

My blind eyes can see

And You heal and restore,

The broken pieces inside of me

If I could, I would dwell here

Every second, of each and every day

So the things of this earth, that still attract me

Will eventually fade away

Who do I have in Heaven, and earth, but You?

Who do I have, that understands

all that I go through?

Who do I have that cries with me, and knows

My sorrow and grief

Who do I have, that knows exactly

Where I am coming from, and can identify with me?

In Your presence, I receive

Everything, which no man can give to me

In Your presence, My restless soul is calmed

And I find comfort in Your Everlasting arms

In Your presence, Your mercy and grace is poured

In your presence, I don't have to be afraid anymore

Your wings cover me, Your love consumes me

When in repentance, I come

And I am washed clean

By the power of Jesus' precious blood

In Your presence, I am made new

In Your presence, I lay myself down

And become more like You

There is nowhere else that I would rather be

Than in Your presence, siting with You

In a place, that my mind still has yet to conceive

I imagine myself there, sitting with You

And the comfort I feel, having You near

I imagine myself, actually washing

Your feet with my tears

I imagine, walking with Jesus through

Beautiful fields of flowers

I imagine, His hand in mine, as

We talk, laugh and cry, for hours

Oh Father, in Your presence there is

Truly fullness of joy

In Your presence, my hope is renewed

My faith is strengthened, and every

Doubt and fear is destroyed

You are worthy of all my praise

That is all I can give

I have nothing more to offer you Lord

But my life, for You are the reason I live

I have nothing to offer you, but my heart

And there is nothing more I want to do

But give You all the glory just for

Who You are

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY

It is not until we learn to COME TO GOD, with the minor things that trouble us, that we learn come to the place where we can really TRUST HIM with the major things that come our way.

God wants to know the little things that bother us, because if we don't come to Him with the little things, those things that we thought were too small to bother God with, will in the months and weeks ahead, if held and not laid down, become a big problem.

Little molehills can become huge mountains.

If we don't come to God with the minor things, they will eventually be major things. He wants to know every detail, every hurt, every worry and everything that we are going through. He wants to know, because He doesn't want us to go through it alone.

Coming to God with everything in prayer, delights Him, it doesn't bother Him, because the one who does so... knows He or she can not get through one day, or even one minute without HIM.

God is NOT bothered by our dependence on Him;

He is more grieved by our independence and lack of need of HIM
