We are told that prophecy is like a light that shines into a dark place and I think of how can it be any darker than it is right now? We are also told that we would do well if we took heed to it, 2nd peter 1:19. It would be nice to see into what our Father is planning to do especially when the Holy Spirit is giving witness to something that is about to happen. I know that with all the foretelling that people are doing today most of God's people are getting pretty sick of it. The reason for it is because those who can hear know most of it is just so much garbage. It is produced by the enemies of our Lord to confuse, deceive and to get God's people to take their ease in Zion and get us to look and go in the wrong direction. The very thing the Lord does not want His people to do. Never the less in the midst of it all you hear a voice of someone once in awhile who will speak as the Holy Spirit moves upon them. Most of it usually comes out in words that are written. It seems that it is the only way that the people scattered in the wilderness will be able to hear it. I also get excited when I read of something written a long time ago and get a witness from the Lord in helping me to understand it along with a knowing that part of it is about to happen.

The prophecy I would like to touch on is written in the book of Daniel. Daniel 9:24-27, known by many as the 70 weeks of Daniel. It is a wonderful Word given to Daniel by the angel Gabriel. I realize for me to speak on this I will have to prophesy words as to what I believe the Holy Spirit is saying. It is exciting to me to read prophecy that our God has given to men and is recorded in the scriptures.

This prophecy reads as follows:

Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy. Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.

Having been made a son to a Father whom I once could only call God, I feel extremely blessed to be called by God to this salvation by Jesus Christ and as a son I am very interested in the creation Father has been doing and is doing today. To me it is like looking at a painting Father is creating and with each stoke of the brush we have a possibility of seeing more and more through time of our Father's creation. With some strokes of the brush it is like Father would say "LET THERE BE LIGHT" for it would be the beginning of a new week in our Fathers calendar in heaven known as 70 weeks. To the saints that are still on the earth who are watching, we have the opportunity to see more and understand more of the knowledge of God through and by Jesus Christ. I also believe it is our Father's good pleasure to show His family some of the things He is creating since we are a part of it.

We must understand that the Lord's timing or times are different than the timing of times that mankind has created. Father says in 55:8,9 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

In the beginning of the 9th chapter of Daniel we find Daniel praying to God for forgiveness of the sins of his people and for God to restore Jerusalem. He read and understood the prophecy of Jeremiah concerning the 70 years that had to be fulfilled in the desolations of Jerusalem. While he was still speaking in prayer God sent Gabriel to Daniel to show him about the restoring of the city Jerusalem. Daniel was greatly loved by the Lord and because of this the Lord wanted to show him of a restoring of Jerusalem that was on a higher thought than our thoughts. Now with this I believe God knew that this would be recorded into a book called the Bible. It would be placed there so we would be able to read it and consider what is being said. Like light that shines into the darkness.

Instead of 70 years the Lord began to speak to him of 70 weeks. WOW!! To me that is exciting to see a different timing than our timing. A chance to look into the very calendar of our Father into a time frame when His creation would bring into existence ever-lasting righteousness, no more sin and no more need for prophecy and vision, (Daniel 9:24). A time when we would all know Him from the greatest to the smallest. It's hard to imagine what that will be like and how wonderful it will be. Here the Lord is telling Daniel of a greater restoration of Jerusalem. Not just a rebuilding of a city made of wood, stone and mortar but a heavenly city, a people brought together as one called the Lord's Bride. This is that city that Abraham looked for whose builder and maker is God, Heb. 11:10. I will insert here though that there will be a parallel to the building of the spiritual city and the natural but I think it best not to go into that now.

In Gen. 1:3 the very first week and the first day of that week of creation God said, "Let there be light: and there was light." What is most interesting about this week of creation, the apostle Peter sees a time period within this week of creation for he says 2nd Peter 3:8 "But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. Now that being the case then that would make the time frame that we are living in at the end of the 6th day or 6 thousand years. The 7th day is a Sabbath, the day of rest which I believe is close at hand which will last a thousand years when our Father will rest handing it over to His Son Jesus to rule with the saints that are also overcomers.

The apostle Peter saw a time frame that was within this one week of creation recorded in Genesis 1. Peter saw 7 days which equals 7 thousand years to complete the whole week which would bring us to the time of a new week when God will create the new heavens and the new earth that we see recorded in Revelation 21:1.

I see also and I don't think I'm the only one ... 70 weeks within this one week of our Father's creation in bringing us back again, restoring us into a relationship with Him that is sin free. A type of relationship that was broken by sin, (disobedience to God's Word) in the garden by Adam and Eve. The Lord will literally make an end of sin by the time He comes to the end of the 70th week.

Now the time comes when we may question ... can we see when a new week began which pertains to these 70 weeks?

A time when we may see or hear Father say "LET THERE BE LIGHT" and more light would come forth to the Lord's people for understanding and opportunity for us to take hold of God's will for our lives and to walk in it. WOW!! What a master portrait this would be to see the final stroke of the brush and be present to hear Father say "IT IS FINISHED." Perhaps in that day we will be able by God's grace to see each of these weeks; when they began and when they ended. To be able to see into this period of time when there would be times when He would bring to us more light and more formation to His creation which He has purposed to do since the very beginning.

God's ways are higher than our ways on earth. His calendar is different than our calendars. The length of time for a week will of necessity be different. What is so beautiful about God's weeks is the lengths of time in His weeks are longer for some and shorter for others. We can see this by the three weeks the Lord speaks of in this prophecy, the 62nd, the 69th and the 70th week. The 70th week is the last week of this time frame and is 1000 years long. The end of this 1000 years will bring an end of sin with the destruction Satan himself, the very master of sin. We read about this in the prophecy recorded in Rev. 20th chapter.

Let's now turn the pages backwards in the creation and the calendar of our Lord from the 70th week and stop at the 62nd week, Daniel 9:26. This week really stands out to me with our God saying "LET THERE BE LIGHT" for it speaks of the coming of Jesus the Christ, the Messiah, the Prince of God, our Passover, and the Light of the world. It speaks of what Jesus did on earth with the end of the week being His crucifixion, His being cut off by the leaders. He did it for us that our sins may be washed away by the blood of the perfect Lamb of God. Be assured of this though, He is certainly not done with what He is creating for it reads ... and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined. Jesus, the King, will have His army to fight the last great battle of this age.

He made it possible for in a time appointed He would raise up a people like Himself. The vision of Tommy Hicks where he saw 'the giant rising up from the earth' is a perfect word in vision of the fulfilling of this prophecy which says, "and the people of the prince that shall come." The purpose is to bring down to nothing a great city called Babylon which the natural Jerusalem will be very much a part of. It speaks of this same time when He will stand on mount Zion with His Christ's with power and great glory, Rev. 14:1. One hundred forty four thousand strong to preach the everlasting Gospel with a backing of a multitude. It will begin at Jerusalem at a time when a false messiah will sit in the temple proclaiming he is God. This false messiah will proclaim that he is the king and will seek to rule the world with his headquarters in the city of Jerusalem but we know what will happen at the end of this war don't we? It surely will be Jesus who will rule from the city of Jerusalem for 1000 years to complete the 70th week. You may want to look at other prophesies like Obadiah 1:21 which will begin to come to pass when these things are happening for it reads this "And saviors shall come up on mount Zion to judge the mount of Esau; and the kingdom shall be the LORD's." Also Joel's prophecy in the 2nd chapter concerning the Lord and His army. We read in Joel 2:11 these words; "and the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?"

Isaiah also speaks of this time; Isaiah 13:3-4 I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones for mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness. The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the LORD of hosts mustereth the host of the battle.

The word prince in this 26th verse is not Satan as many have thought, but is Jesus, and the people to come are the saints foretold that would come. I believe one of the oldest prophecies will finally be fulfilled and that is the words spoken by Enoch the seventh from Adam when he said, "Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him." Jude 1:14-15.

This everlasting Gospel with power must begin at Jerusalem, then around the world. As it was at the beginning of the age so will it be at the end of the age. The Word of God with power will begin at Jerusalem and then to all nations. It will also be a time of fire and great wrath from the Lord against all disobedience.

I stop short of saying too much for fear of confusing you if I have not already. I believe the 62nd is much shorter then the 70th week. I believe the beginning of this 62nd week of history was the coming forth of John the Baptist and the end of it with the crucifixion of Jesus, the Passover Lamb of God. The beginning of the 63rd week I believe began with the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the coming of the Holy Spirit with new light given to the apostles and those with them concerning the Kingdom of God. As I look at this 62nd week it looks to be a short week with two halves. The ministry of John the Baptist with one half and the ministry of Jesus with power the last half.

Now looking ahead in time from the 62nd week to the 69th week spoken of and recorded in Daniel 9:25 we read Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.

The threescore means 3x20=60, 7 weeks + 2 weeks = 9, for a total of 69 weeks. I believe this 69th week to be a very important week in our Lords time table or the Lord would not have had it recorded in the scriptures. I believe this is the week that is about to begin. It is the last week for this age and is divided into two halves of time, times and a half of time, being the first half of the week. Then time, times and a half a time, being the last half of the week. I believe it is a parallel to the 62nd week. The first half a straightening of crooked things, restoring the perfect way of the Lord with the announcement of the soon coming of the Messiah, Jesus Christ. The second half of the week would be the coming of the Lord to His saints, the Bride, giving them the authority needed in the war that we know He will win.

Dear saints, consider these things that are being spoken to you. The first half of the week will be the opening of a door and then the breaking of the seals, (tribulation ). This is why the prophecy says it will be in a time of trouble. The harvest begins. During this time of trouble the Bride, (the Jerusalem of God) will be brought up into a higher place with our Father restored into one way of thinking, even the mind of Christ Jesus. The second half of the week will be the blowing of the trumpets, (great tribulation). The beginning of the war for the Kingdom to be established. The first half will be putting in the sickle, harvest time, Rev.14:14-16. The second half of the week will be the putting in the sickle with fire and wrath, Rev. 14:17-20. The first half will be the birthing of a man child. The second half is the man child going forth with Jesus to the city of Jerusalem to throw over the tables of merchandise. I see a multitude in spirit holding palm branches in their hands once again.

Oh dear people, I wonder how I can say these things so they would be easily understood? There is so much that can be spoken but I think hard to be understood.

The last week to this age is the 69th. It will be a troublesome week but the Lord will shorten the time for the sake of the saints. What is so interesting about this 69th week is the time frame between the 62nd and the 69th. How wonderful it was when the Holy Spirit showed me of a time of waiting between these all important weeks.

Looking back to when Jesus came and the fulfilling of what is called the Passover. Jesus instructed them to wait a period of time which was 50 days or 7 weeks from the time of the Passover to the time they would be given power with the coming of the Holy Spirit. We all know the story, don't we? When there were 120 people waiting in that upper room for the fulfillment of this time period. Among this 120 persons were 12 apostles, 12 hand picked men to be the leaders of the harvest that was soon to begin with the coming of power by the Holy Spirit. When the time was fulfilled, God's power came by His Holy Spirit with tongues of fire upon every one of them. Peter being a chosen leader was the first to preach the word of God which resulted in 5,000 people being harvested and brought into the Kingdom of God. We know that this was only the beginning of the Lord's people going forth to preach the word of the kingdom of God. It was a time of much trouble also.

Now the Lord shows us in this prophecy by Daniel of another 7 weeks to wait from the time of Passover, (the 62nd week) to the beginning of the 69th week is 7 weeks. This period of time must be accomplished before the other harvest can come forth that Jesus spoke of in the 13th chapter of Matt. This also goes hand in hand with the feasts that the Lord commanded to be kept by Moses which I think it best not to go into. This written word I think is long enough.

To sum up this word, I believe the time period of 7 weeks of Gods creation is all but finished and we are faced with the beginning of the 69th week. A week full of troublesome times yet the street will be built, which is a Hebrew word meaning the "WAY" will be built again in a proper mind set, like Jesus Himself thinks. The wall is also a Hebrew word which means a threshing instrument which is only used at harvest time. It also has a meaning of digging a trench as a mining for gold. This last week is a calling up of God's people into a higher place with the Lord, perhaps much like an upper room that our brothers and sisters used as they waited during that first 7weeks for the Lord's coming by Spirit. We will learn the true WAY of sacrifice and oblation in a righteous manner. This is what the apostle Paul spoke of in Romans 12:1, "a sacrifice which is our reasonable service" but this will cease in middle of the week because of the coming of the Lord with power. I see not just a 120 people in an upper place this time but I see a multitude in the upper room which is the very temple of God in heavenly places even though our feet are still on the earth. As it was in the beginning when there was 12 apostles in there midst. I see a multitude with 144,000 apostles in our midst waiting for the coming of the Lord Jesus to give authority to His church with tongues of FIRE . He will confirm His covenant with many for the entire week and if you don't know what this means you need to search it out and know what it means.

Dearly beloved, keep it simple. If the Lord chose 12 men to be apostles for one nation. Is it too hard for the Lord to choose 144,000 chosen men to be apostles to cover all nations of the world? Remember this, these chosen ones will not be the only ones preaching the kingdom of God with power any more then the 12 apostles were, and no I am not one of them. I will add to this that I did meet one of them and I believe the Lord allowed this to happen so I would understand some things more perfectly.

This is the manner that I met this person. There were a number of years that I just wandered from place to place. I happened to find myself in a certain city at a persons house who fed me and gave me a place to stay for a few days. I was sitting at a kitchen table when a young man came in; I think he worked on cars. He said a few words and then left. He was gone only a short time when he come back in and set down at the table with me. He looked at me rather strange and said, "When I went to my truck, God came to me and called me by a name different than my name." When he told me the name God called him I shook! with the Spirit surging within me. It was a strange name I never heard before and neither could I now repeat it. It was indeed a name of power and then the Spirit of God came on me and I remember I spoke to him these words with a feeling of reverence toward him and said, "Sir, I am not worthy to loosen the shoe strings of your shoes." I knew at that moment that I had just met one of these chosen men of God. I have often thought of that from time to time and wondered why the Lord allowed it to happen. Perhaps to help me in my understanding but also to give that young man a witness to his appointment. I believe the scripture that these are all men and as it is written, chosen men of God. I feel very privileged to have actually met one of these chosen ones. I will close now and let you go over in your mind of the things that have been spoken.
