WORD STUDIES

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works" 2 Timothy 3:16-17.

"Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation. For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost"2 Peter 1:20-21.

With the addition of this Word Studies Menu, my intention is simply to compile verses on a subject matter, without trying to tell you what they mean, that is the Holy Spirit's job, only the He can open our understanding and reveal the mysteries they contain. As we must learn to be 'Spirit led,' it is more a matter of having our spiritual eyes opened, than bringing understanding to our carnal mind. Much of what the Spirit would teach us, our mind will struggle with and want to reject. Sometimes it does one good just to see the number of times and the various ways the Lord has used different individuals down through time to repeat the same message. These are just a place to start, I have no doubt that our learning will continue throughout eternity... be blessed in your pursuit to Know Him!
